From founding Game Aerospace and developing game-changing aircraft like the GB2 StormBird for wildfire response, to advancing advanced air mobility and revitalizing Bentonville Airport – Louise Thaden Field, Walton’s impact on aviation is bold, innovative and deeply rooted in community. "Steuart Walton is a visionary and generational leader who is transforming Northwest Arkansas into a model of aviation excellence,” said NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen. “His pioneering work provides a vivid demonstration of the many ways aviation can inspire, connect, promote innovation, generate jobs, spur economic development, assist in responding to natural disasters and promote sustainability.” A passionate pilot with a stunning fleet of restored warbirds, Walton also led the Arkansas Economic Recovery Task Force and continues to champion the role of aviation in regional development and humanitarian efforts.
