Power Morphicon 6 was in Anaheim back in 2018 (across from Disneyland at the Anaheim Convention Center). Power Morphicon was at the Pasadena Convention Center from 2010 - 2016. We'd been to lots of cons in Anaheim before, but this was the first time we stayed over (as we used to live in Northridge and would commute). Back in the day we'd stand in line for an hour and get pancakes at the Original Pancake House, then drive to whichever con it was (VidCon, WonderCon, etc) and that was usually enough food for the day, but it also seemed like there were more food options at some of those cons. Mia and I also used to eat at that Sbarro and a cheese pizza most certainly wasn't almost $50 the last time we ate there. Prices go way up? I also remember a parking lot full of food trucks at one con or another. But, at PMC 2018, finding breakfast was almost impossible, for us, at least. Getting a cup of coffee in under 30 minutes, forget it. Mia and I are also guests, and after 14 years of doing the channel, we're fairly recognizable in the PR fandom, I think it's fair to say. People find us pretty quick when we're out and about. It'd be nice if when people were meeting us for the first time, we were exhausted and just trying to find some coffee. We'd much rather be lively. I didn't know what video I was making here when I started. Maybe it's a little evident. But once I started looking at PMC 2014, I just started laughing. I was like, okay, it's mostly a food video. I didn't even remember they served us steak at the Gold Ranger breakfast, which was also an all you can eat buffet? The food options at that con vs us starving and decaffeinated for three days in Anaheim, it's comical. Looking back, anyway. We were a little hangry at the time. Or maybe too tired to be totally hangry? It's currently 4:05am and I'm still writing. Why? I don't know but I could go for a run right now. Is it a side effect from the shot? Maybe I'll go run. Anyone wanna go for a run? Ah! A spider! Look at the size of this thing! He needs to go outside. Kinda cute. But he can't live here. I'm gonna order a bug vacuum.
