Stop Slamming The Gate - Soft Hinges - DO they Work ?

In this video I will install soft closing hinges to reduce the noise from this gate slamming, when the gate is being used it is closed by spring hinges that cause the gate to not only close but slam very hard and loud. The wider the gate is opened the louder the gate will slam and the louder the noise will be. This is driving all the residents crazy. The solution is to use something different to reduce the slamming effect on the gate.
