Esta CASA en PORTUGAL me dejó SIN PALABRAS

In this episode of Casa+, I traveled to Comporta, Portugal, to discover a beach house that has been completely reborn thanks to the project of architect Rita Valadão. Casa da Influência, owned by Patrícia Oliveira, founder of It Tables, was transformed with a very clear objective: to become an elegant, welcoming holiday retreat, fully connected to the landscape and the essence of Comporta. The palette of beige tones, the lime plaster, the microcement, the natural woods, the travertine, the fibers, the handmade rugs from the Alentejo region, and the lamps brought from Morocco create an atmosphere that is difficult to describe. Everything seems simple and natural, but behind each choice lies intention, sensitivity, and enormous attention to detail. During the tour, Rita told me about undertaking a complete renovation, which elements of the old house they decided to preserve, and how they managed to connect the interior spaces with the exterior. The project also incorporated new areas for enjoyment and sharing, such as the pool, deck, spa, outdoor dining area, barbecue area, and suites brimming with personality. This house speaks of architecture, memories, travel, art, and design. But above all, it demonstrates that true sophistication can also be found in natural materials, textures, and the beauty of imperfection. If you're passionate about architecture, interior design, decoration, and homes with soul, join me as we discover this unique retreat in Comporta.
