Disappointing First Day in the Dolomites (Venice to Cortina d'Ampezzo on Cortina Express Bus)

When the two week home sickness begins to creep up and you start crying over the clouds… 🤣😭 We traveled from #venice up to the #dolomites and were greeted with bad weather and zero visibility. Setting high expectations for a place you've wanted to go to for so long is normal and is a part of what makes us excited to travel. However, it can often lead to disappointment if it doesn't live up to what you've always pictured. So far on this journey we found the places where we have had little to no expectations to be our favorite. We recognize how fortunate we are to be experiencing all of these places, but that doesn't negate our human emotions.
