In this video I go through the full process of choosing my next middleweight motorcycle, after saying goodbye to my Royal Enfield Himalayan 450. After months of test rides, comparisons and a lot of thinking, the shortlist came down to five very different bikes: Yamaha Tracer 9 GT Husqvarna Norden 901 Moto Guzzi V85 TT Ducati Multistrada V2S BMW R 12 G/S This isn’t a typical group test or spec sheet comparison. Instead, I break down the decision based on the things that really matter when living with a bike day-to-day, with each motorcycle scored across five key categories: • Riding character • Comfort and ergonomics • Usability and practicality • Ownership experience • The emotional factor Using footage from my real world test rides and information from my own research, I work through each bike to see which one truly fits what I want — scenic rides, long days in the saddle, short sprints to work and a bit of fun at the weekend exploring the roads of the North West - I need my next bike to do it all. By the end of the video the scores are revealed… and two bikes come out almost level. Which one will win? There’s only one clue, but by the end of this video just two remain standing. The final reveal will come in the collection video.
