Hey guys, today we're taking you to the incredible island of Barbados - country number 111 on our journey! We started our adventure by checking into the beautiful Divi Southwinds Beach Resort where we had our own suite with a full kitchen just steps from the ocean. The girls immediately fell in love with the white sand beaches and crystal-clear waters, and we even spotted sea turtles swimming right in the waves! Our walking tour of Bridgetown revealed so much fascinating history - did you know Barbados only became a republic in 2021, breaking ties with the British monarchy? We explored Queen's Park, visited historic churches with tombstones right in the floor, and wandered through colorful local markets filled with fresh produce and authentic Caribbean flavors. The highlight was definitely visiting Rihanna Drive, where we met locals who actually knew the superstar when she was just a little island girl riding bikes and flying kites. It's incredible to think this global icon grew up right here, and she still gives back to her community every year close to Christmas time! From beach volleyball to body surfing, delicious local cuisine to spontaneous adventures, Barbados showed us why it's considered one of the Caribbean's crown jewels.
