Black Women Deconstructing Their Faith

What happens when Black women begin questioning their faith? For many of us, the church has been more than a place of worship, it’s been a cultural foundation, a source of identity, and a pillar of community. But what happens when you start asking deeper questions? When the beliefs you were raised with no longer align with your personal truth? In this video, I’m sharing my journey of deconstructing faith, leaving the church, and embracing a new path as a Black woman and Agnostic. This is a deeply personal conversation about unlearning, re-evaluating beliefs, and finding spiritual freedom outside of organized religion. In This Video, We’ll Explore: Why Black women are deconstructing their faith and leaving the church My personal journey from Christianity to Agnosticism The challenges of questioning religion in Black communities Navigating loss, identity shifts, and redefining spirituality What life looks like after faith deconstruction Have you been through a similar experience?
