The musical "A Tale of Two Cities" will open on Wednesday, May 7, 2025. We bring you footage from the production announcement and pre-opening press conference held ahead of the opening! "A Tale of Two Cities" is based on a novel by Charles Dickens, author of "Oliver Twist" and "A Christmas Carol." It tells the story of a beautiful and epic romance between 18th-century England and France, set to a dramatic score by Frank Wildhorn. The musical debuted in the United States in 2007, making its way to Broadway the following year, and premiered in Korea in 2012. It also premiered in Japan at the Imperial Theatre in the summer of 2013. This revival marks the first time in 12 years! At the press conference, Inoue and Urai spoke about their feelings about working together again after such a long time, and Junka's goofy (?) character exploded.
