Increasingly popular and longer, ultra-endurance races are carving out a niche for themselves in the sporting landscape. UTMB, Hardrock 100, Grand Raid… But how far can you go? The effects of extreme exertion on the body and brain are increasingly being studied: central fatigue, muscle damage, but also physiological adaptation. Guillaume Millet, a former ultra-trail runner, is exploring these questions as part of his research and his "0 to 100" project.
