Learning and Improving Communications Skills with PlaneEnglish
PlaneEnglish is an app-based aviation radio simulator that emulates an aviation radio and makes use of speech analysis technology to give pilots realistic training and instantaneous feedback on phraseology, speech patterns, and radio proficiency. With a large database of actual airports and thousands of scenarios, pilots can practice many of the in-flight radio calls they are likely to encounter when flying. The PlaneEnglish Aviation Radio Simulator is available for iOS and Android. During this presentation I will provide an overview of Plane English, including the pricing options. I’ll also demonstrate a few VFR and IFR scenarios.
