Part of the Divinity Series, Bharata Natyam dancer, Meenakshi Srinivasan from Chennai performs at the Chinmaya Mission Auditorium, New Delhi on 28th September. Bharata Natyam originated as a temple dance many thousand years ago. Its focus gradually shifted to the stage. Recognizing the need to retain the classical integrity of the art, Divinity Series seeks to create the spirit of the temple and provide audiences with a celestial experience.
