In the Matter of the Basic Law versus the People Chancellor's Office doorman Bölck and Chancellor's driver Frowin receive a visit from the Ministry of Defense. Corporal Maier-Bode, secretly in the Chancellery, is ordered to shred documents. The three conclude that the relationship between the Basic Law and the people is fractured. It's high time to take this to court. In a passionate trial, opposing viewpoints clash: property no longer entails any obligations, men and women are equal, but only later, and human dignity exists only in the subjunctive mood.
