Ducks, Dogs & Cement Our retirement to Portugal was always meant to be a change of lifestyle. Whilst we’d always had pets, dogs especially, we never anticipated hatching our own Indian Runner ducklings! Our first two videos on this channel have been about why we moved to mid Portugal and who we are. This video introduces you to our menagerie, our dog Maya, our ducks, our resident toad and even the Koi carp that Dave built a pond for, including vacuuming it out! There’s even a brief introduction to a salamander (poisonous to touch). There’s also a bit of DIY in the paddock due to January’s storm causing havoc and us needing to secure it to keep our dog in.
