The 13 Colonies
Ricky ( NZ4T ) makes a few contacts during The 13 Colonies special event. This is a special event that takes place 1 week after Ham Radio Field day every year. Ham radio operators get a chance to contact all of the 13 colonies plus the sister stations. Anyone participating can receive a special certificate after sending in a station log sheet. You don't have to contact all stations to receive a certificate. If you contact all the stations it is called a clean sweep.
