Day in the Life of a 25-year-old Catholic Creative | Time to Write
Making Fantasies Come True: One Story at a Time, and it is time to work on my own fantasy of becoming a Nun who writes books. As some of you may know, I am on a journey to becoming a religious sister for the Catholic Faith. I have this 5-year goal, and I decided to show you what that looks like for someone who is in the early stages of strengthening my faith and my stamina to stay awake and write my books. I personally really struggle with being active every day because I suffer from depression and some sort of dissociative disorder where some of my alters would much rather just watch videos and not care about the world... which is how I pretty much ended this day. But I feel like I had a pretty good day. Tell me if you think I did a good job being productive. Today I worked on my YA Christian Fiction Coming-of-Age Novel that has to deal with a character who has DID, where I wrote over 1000 words. I also did my normal evening routine of strengthening my relationship with God... I also had to do normal everyday errands because I own a home, and there are always things to do. Anyways, thank you for watching. I hope you enjoyed this wacky video and will continue to follow me on my journey to become a religious sister while also continuing to write the many books circling in my head. For those of you who do not know, my name is Michelle, and this is the Chaotic Kitz Channel, where my alters and I talk about our life struggles, about the books we write, and about the books we are reading… We also talk a lot about our Catholic faith as we have the five-year goal of becoming a religious sister. Some key points to know about me… One: I am part of a system… meaning that I share this body that everyone knows as Michelle with my other parts. We are unsure of what our diagnosis is because getting diagnosed in our area is very expensive, and there are really no good diagnosis places around me, as I live in a very small town that is at least an hour away from any big cities that could provide a diagnosis. Two: This channel will mostly focus on my three pen names: Maris, Grace, and Shelly. But that doesn’t mean you will only ever see them. Some of them will make their appearances, but they will not be giving you their names, because names have power. But mostly on this channel, we will talk about our struggles with being a system and struggles of having multiple pen names. But life isn’t all about struggles, we will also talk about books that we are reading and writing. And everything will have a religious perspective, because as we said, we are pursuing religious life. And if you want to support us on this journey, we have a Ko-Fi page for Shelly where she is trying to raise money to get back to publishing her middle-grade chapter books, which is holding us back from releasing the book. We live on disability and the money we get from our brother. Which we are so grateful for. But with a limited income, we have to be strategic about spending. So if you go to https://ko-fi.com/authorshellykitz and help fund the chapter books, or even just support us… Either way is fine, but no pressure. It is simply a suggestion if you would like to support us. And if you are interested in reading Shelly Kitz books, they are part of a series called The Bugztopia PD Series, where I suggest reading book 1: Bugztopia PD: The Attack on ANT Hill. You can buy the book on all platforms. Here is a link to the ebook, which costs $0.99 for Book 1, while the rest is $2.99… https://books2read.com/u/3nAwX9 Shelly also has a YouTube page called Author Shelly- Middle Grade Author, where it is specifically Shelly talking about her books and her process. This is a link to the channel / @authorshellykitz Now I know we have a lot of links to Shelly and her world, but she is the only one who currently has social media associated with her. But that doesn’t mean that Grace and Maris aren’t working. We just can’t focus on multiple social media… having two YouTube channels is enough for you. And we do want to pursue traditional/ indie publishing for the Grace and Maris projects. Grace is working on her YA novel and has a finished Picture Book that we would love to send out into the world, but we are scared. So if you can give us a little courage, that would be awesome. While Maris is in the early stages of brainstorming, we need to get back to working on it. But sometimes it is hard to do it all when you are having rough days. But I think I have rambled on enough. I hope you all have a blessed day, and remember to keep making fantasies come true one story at a time, and I will see you next time… bye.
