The Best Track Nobody Talks About | Solo On The Woodline Track | Remote Camping Off Road

Exploring the little-known Woodline Track in Western Australia. Episode 2 of my solo journey along the . What started as a remote shortcut through the bush quickly turned into one of the most surprising and challenging tracks I’ve explored. Continuing deeper along the Woodline, the track becomes tighter, rougher and far more overgrown. Along the way I stumble across a huge unnamed granite rock with a massive rock wall system designed to capture and hold water in its natural pools. Hidden deep in the bush, it feels like a remote oasis and after the heat and dust of the track, I can’t resist taking a swim. The surprises continue as I encounter wild donkeys roaming the bush before arriving at the incredible Cave Hill. At the caves themselves, I make a mistake, a reminder of how easy it is to get things wrong out here. Leaving Cave Hill behind, I search for the southern section of the Woodlines Track, a route so hidden and overgrown it’s hard to believe it still exists. Fallen trees block the track repeatedly, forcing me to use recovery gear to clear a path, while the bush closes in tighter than ever before. To make things worse, bushfires begin appearing around the region, increasing the pressure to keep moving.
