Finally, in 1777, a border was established between the Spanish and French sides of the island of Hispaniola. But then war broke out in Europe, and a slave revolt erupted on the western side of the island, and everything would change again… This is an educational project by the Corripio Foundation, which will consist of approximately 100 episodes, designed to help Dominicans learn more about their history. We narrate the most relevant and epic events in the Dominican Republic. Our episodes are based on reliable sources. We work closely with the Dominican Academy of History and the historian and essayist Juan Daniel Balcácer.
