I myself, who have endometriosis (an inflammatory disease), am following an anti-inflammatory diet on medical advice. But the more I read, the more I realize there’s a mix of everything: solid science, promising ideas, but also a lot of hype. What is inflammation, really? What do we know about how it affects us? And does eating “to reduce inflammation” make sense, or is it just marketing?
