The Polish Rolls-Royce of the 1920s! This is the story of the first Polish car built entirely from scratch, a car that could be disassembled and reassembled with a single spanner, because all its bolts and nuts were the same size. It was faster and more powerful than the popular Ford, reaching over 100 kilometers per hour, and its prototype was personally driven by President Ignacy Mościcki, who refused to give up the wheel. It was built by Tadeusz Tański, the son of a Polish aviation pioneer and creator of the world's largest aircraft engine during the Great War. At the Lviv fair, this car was christened the Polish Rolls-Royce. Yet it wasn't the market or the competition that killed it, only a single signature under the Fiat license. The last batch of 60 cars left the factory in 1931, and not a single original survived the war. It's a story of genius, pride, the difficult choice of a poor country, and the extraordinary return of a legend to Polish roads after almost a century, at the hands of enthusiasts who refused to be forgotten.
