How This Painting Became “Pinball Machine”

Sometimes a painting has its own plans. This artwork began as a simple tutorial exercise. I enjoyed the process, but as I looked at the painting, I kept seeing new possibilities. More colours. More movement. More energy. ➡️ ➡️ Here's the tutorial:    • Acrylic Painting for Beginners: How to Sta...   Layer by layer, I added oil paint and oil sticks until the painting became something completely different from where it started. As the circles, lines, bright colours, and playful shapes appeared, the painting reminded me of an old pinball machine full of lights, sounds, movement, and excitement. That’s when the title “Pinball Machine” came to me. In this video, I share the journey from the original tutorial painting to the final artwork and how sometimes the painting itself tells us where it wants to go.
