Is an Indian worth it? In this review of the Indian Chief Vintage, Sport Chief RT, 101 Scout, and Roadmaster, I'll share my first impressions, riding experience, the character of the V-twin engine, comfort, performance, and true on-road style. If you're looking for an honest Indian motorcycle test, focusing on cruisers, power cruisers, and touring bikes, here's my opinion after spending all day riding them. In this video, I finally understood what makes Indian Motorcycles different. It's not just classic design, a premium image, or American nostalgia. We're talking about motorcycles with personality, twin-cylinder engines with tons of torque, authentic riding sensations, and a sporty character that's still felt across the entire range, even on the big, heavy bikes. The Indian Chief Vintage surprised me with its retro style, its powerful presence, its metallic finishes, and a ride that's much more enjoyable than its weight would suggest. The Sport Chief RT is probably the one that best suits my taste: a cruiser with a sporty soul, Brembo brakes, a great V-twin engine, excellent feel, powerful response, and a riding position that blends touring and fun. The 101 Scout was the real shock of the day: light, compact, aggressive, incredibly responsive, and with a 1250 engine that feels closer to a wild naked bike than a traditional cruiser. The Roadmaster, for its part, proves that a large touring bike can still have character, performance, and a chassis capable of surprising.
