He was one of seventeen children of Domingos Migliaccio and Jandira Machado, among them the actress and comedian Dirce Migliaccio, who died in 2009. Married to Yvonne Migliaccio, and father of journalist Marcelo Migliaccio, Flávio began his career acting in theater plays in the outskirts of São Paulo, where he soon discovered his comedic talent. He participated in a theater group at the church in Tucuruvi, where he stayed for three years, until he became the lead actor and director. Since he needed to earn money, he had to find other jobs, working as a shop assistant and mechanic. In 1954, after taking a theater course with the Italian director Ruggero Jacobbi, he began his professional acting career at the Arena Theater. His first role was that of a corpse in the play Judge Yourself. At age 25, he made his film debut in Roberto Santos's The Great Moment. He would also act in Brazilian film classics such as Five Times Favela, The Hour and the Time of Augusto Matraga, Land in Trance, and All the Women in the World. Flávio was known for his character Sheriff in the Brazilian TV series Shazan, Sheriff and Co., and for the role of Uncle Maneco in the series shown on TVE. On Rede Globo, he stood out for his work in soap operas such as Rainha da Sucata, Perigosas Peruas, A Próxima Vítima, Vila Madalena, Senhora do Destino, Passione, among others. Flávio won a lawsuit against TVE (succeeded by Acerp - Associação de Comunicação Educativa Roquete Pinto), which had been in court for over twenty years, for the destruction of four hundred chapters of the series "Tio Maneco," which he starred in. The compensation would be for the loss of the archive and for moral damages. However, he died before receiving the compensation. He had already won the case, but the process was in the stage of calculating the value by an expert. According to his lawyer, Acerp requested the annulment of the action, but if a legal successor is presented in the process, this person would be entitled to receive the compensation. This successor would be the actor's only son, Marcelo Migliaccio. #cemetery #tomb #tribute #FlávioMigliaccio #RioDeJaneiro
