Roof, Relief, and Railings - Adding character to a scratch-build - Victorian Hotel Build Part 12

In this video I show how I made a complex roof for the ballroom building. It's a hipped mansard roof with a tympanum-topped gable section extruding from it. I am currently scratch building a large, low-relief Victorian hotel for my N Gauge model railway layout, Chandwell. I am making the hotel from card and printed textures. I also show how I used cereal packet card to add relief to the stone walls to really add depth and character to the building. And in a final flourish, I introduce the fabulous Scale Model Scenery ornate decorative railings, which I have used to finish off the Juliette balconies on the wall. These are available here in N scale: https://www.scalemodelscenery.co.uk/l... And here in 00: https://www.scalemodelscenery.co.uk/l...
