Email: [email protected] [About Omochi-kun] Omochi-kun (nickname given as a fetus) was born in January 2023. He was born with facial and skull deformities. Facial Defects Missing upper and lower eyelids Eyes far apart and set low Small, low-set, and posteriorly rotated ears Skull Defects Bone defects from the top of the head to the forehead Defects around the eyes and cheekbones Small lower jaw Short nasal bone Due to his small lower jaw, spontaneous breathing was difficult, and he underwent a tracheotomy on the day of his birth. Due to his weak swallowing ability, he receives nutrition through a gastrostomy tube. Due to the lack of bone in his forehead, he feels squishy to the touch. Due to the lack of bone around his eyes, his eyeballs are set deep inside. I'm sinking into despair. No one, not even the doctors, knows how he will grow in the future, but Omochi lives each day to the fullest, showing us all different sides of himself, and we adore him so much. Our family of three lives, savoring every moment of happiness. "There are kids like this in the world."
