Biosphere - Endurium

FLASHING WARNING! NOT MY MUSIC. Just a long love presented in visual fashion. Give me time, I'll get through the whole Substrata album. I'm working multiple videos at a time, so they might come in spurts as I decide to leave some behind. I've had a lot of fun with them so far. Such delicate material, so thought-provoking. Just fabulous, as many already know. I've literally been with Biosphere since the very first album. I don't like every single album, but the ones I like? I love! I played Dropsonde at bedtime almost every night for 13 years straight. Lately, I've preferred Inland Delta...these are my favorites, but my favorites have evolved through decades of listening to this amazing artist. I did manage a record store, after all. I was good at finding what the world had to offer in the 80s and 90s and Biosphere is one the greatest influences on my own music that can be mentioned. Truly. All the love in this project forthcoming...or finished, as I never update these boxes. For those new to Biosphere...it might help to think of it as miniaturized Autechre-- I do, I mean. It sounds simple, but it's SO deep...you just need to listen to it a billion times to really unlock it. The key is repetition. Also, it's VERY much album music, meaning you kinda have to take them in sequence to really get them. Substrata was especially like that, for me. Took me years to grok properly and it just gets better still as I listen and ponder. It's some of the most thoughtful music I've encountered in life, but not without challenge...much like Autechre. See? :) But miniaturized. All composed via kdenlive, and DaVinci Resolve, high praise for my trio here. All crafted in layers and renders, keeping only the result. I've made many of these and the bottom has a link to them as album playlists for ease, as well as other things I get up to. Cheers. Some 'simpler' stuff ahead, for me in this series. :D Relax into it and I promise it'll make more sense in 21 videos as a whole.
