Lucas tells us about the value society assigns us and how that value influences our life decisions. Illustrations by Jon Amarillo. He is a journalist, writer, performer, queer, and a Capricorn. He contributes to media outlets such as Agencia Presentes, FutuRock, BuzzFeed, and more. Together with Jon Amarillo, he created the comic ‘Bicho y Yo’ (Bug and Me), which tells the story of his life with HIV. When in doubt, he gets angry and argues; when he cooks, he uses a wooden spoon like it's Sailor Moon's scepter; he buys more books than he reads; and once, he danced reggaeton and was applauded by Björk.
