GBS SURVIVOR PANEL

🎙️ Meet Our Incredible GBS Survivor Panel! 🎙️ We are honored to feature an amazing group of Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS) survivors on The Comeback Seat. Their stories are filled with resilience, determination, hope, and inspiration! ✨ Meet Kim BurdenKim was diagnosed with the Miller Fisher variant of GBS in 2012. While she was never told exactly what triggered her illness, possible causes discussed included contaminated food, water, or other environmental factors. Kim is a true warrior who has completed an incredible 34 marathons! 💪🏃‍♀️ Unfortunately, due to an internet glitch, only about 10 minutes of Kim’s interview made it into our roundtable episode. The good news? She’ll be returning to The Comeback Seat to share her full story, her recovery journey, and her extensive knowledge and experience living with GBS. ✨ Meet Tim HigginsTim was diagnosed with GBS in 2018. Like many survivors, he was never given a definitive answer about what caused his illness. His journey has included numerous medical challenges, and today he continues to seek answers as doctors explore whether some of his ongoing symptoms may be related to CIDP (Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy), a condition that shares many similarities with GBS. ✨ Meet Miranda Pellet & Ameliya Miranda is the proud mom of an incredible young GBS survivor. Her daughter, Ameliya, was diagnosed with the AMAN variant of Guillain-Barré Syndrome in 2016 at just 2 years old. Through every challenge, Miranda has been Ameliya’s biggest cheerleader, fiercest advocate, and strongest support system. Thanks to her determination and unwavering love, Ameliya continues to thrive today; participating in school activities, sports, and all the adventures childhood has to offer. Together, their story is a powerful reminder of strength, perseverance, resilience, and hope. ❤️ ✨ Meet Rachel  Rachel was diagnosed with GBS in 2017 at the age of 14. It is believed that her GBS may have been triggered by a virus that caused her immune system to mistakenly attack her nerves. Despite facing incredible obstacles at such a young age, Rachel continues to inspire others with her courage and determination. 🎧 These survivors prove that every setback truly deserves a comeback. We can’t wait for you to hear their stories and learn from their incredible journeys! #GBS #GuillainBarreSyndrome #GBSSurvivor #TheComebackSeat
