IEB achieves 98,46% matric pass rate
Matriculants who wrote the Independent Examinations Board exams have once again produced outstanding results, recording a slight improvement in the pass rate. The class of 2023 obtained a 98.46% pass rate, up from 98.42% the previous year. More than 15-thousand candidates sat down for the IEB exams. They include Jozi Nupen and Ethan Gondo, the head girl and head boy from St Stithians College in Johannesburg, who achieved 10 distinctions between them.
