Saisie des armes légères et des petits calibres pour lutter contre la criminalité en RDC

An operation to seize small arms and light weapons was carried out in Kinshasa, the capital of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). This work was undertaken by the National Commission for the Control of Small Arms and Light Weapons (CNC-ALPC) to combat insecurity in Kinshasa and throughout the DRC. Members of this commission conducted raids, checked the conformity of weapons ownership documents, and inspected gun owners. Following this work, which began last May, they presented the first seized weapons to members of the government in Kinshasa on Thursday, including the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, Jacquemain Shabani, and the Minister Delegate for Defense and Veterans Affairs, Eliezer Ntambwe.
