RDC : report du procès de détournement de fonds de Frivao par la Cour de cassation

The Court of Cassation postponed on Monday the hearing concerning the embezzlement of funds from the Special Fund for Reparation and Compensation of Victims of Ugandan Armed Activities in the Democratic Republic of Congo (FRIVAO). Former Minister of Justice Constant Mutamba, accused of attempted embezzlement in this case, appeared in person before the Court, but his lawyers pointed out procedural irregularities before the judges, requesting access to the case file to properly prepare their defense. The hearing was postponed until July 27th, almost as soon as it began.
