BMW I8 Roadster - Prueba a fondo - revistadelmotor.es

This time we're testing a unique vehicle: the BMW i8 Roadster, the convertible version of the i8 that enhances the driving pleasure of this very special car. It retains the plug-in hybrid system of the Coupé version, boasting a combined output of 374 hp, an electric range of 53 km, and a top speed of 120 km/h. It's available from €161,200. Let's get started! The BMW i8 is 4,689 mm long, 1,942 mm wide, and 1,293 mm high. The wheelbase is 2,800 mm. It's a sports car designed for four people in a 2+2 configuration. One of the most carefully considered aspects of the BMW i8 is its aerodynamics. The drag coefficient (Cd) is a mere 0.26. BMW has applied flow dynamics technology to precisely guide airflow around the body and improve energy and fuel efficiency. Continuity in the LifeDrive architecture brings the BMW i design language to the Roadster concept. Lightweight materials have been used in the construction of this model, specifically for the body and gull-wing doors. This will undoubtedly enhance the i8 Roadster's dynamic performance. The windshield frame is also made of carbon fiber reinforced plastic. The full test is available HERE: http://www.revistadelmotor.es/2019/05/15/p...
