Applied Qualitative Research: Reflexive Thematic Analysis in Action
This webinar offers practical insights into Braun and Clarke’s reflexive thematic analysis. Participants will engage in real-time coding exercises to deepen their understanding of this qualitative research analysis method. The webinar will cover essential topics such as identifying themes, coding data, and ensuring reflexivity throughout the research process, all within the framework established by Braun and Clarke. By the end of the session, students will have gained practical skills to apply Braun and Clarke’s reflexive thematic analysis. The workshop was facilitated by Karen Campbell, RN, PhD, assistant professor, School of Nursing. Campbell’s program of research focuses on the intersections of women’s health with physical and social geography. She has taught graduate-level courses in qualitative research and designed and conducted multiple applied qualitative research projects using a broad range of study designs and approaches to analysis.
