KelTec PR57 - The Steyr-Hahn we have at home?
InRange is supported by viewers like you and every $1 helps! / inrangetv Stripper clip fed non detachable box magazine handguns were peak technology before World War I, and really went away after that in favor of detachable box magazine designs. KelTec has released a brand new stripper clip fed non detachable box magazine handgun, the PR57. Let's take a look at this unique design and why, or why not, returning to such an old concept may still have merit. Addendum: I've seen a lot of people reply to my video on the KelTec PR57 pistol as tacit endorsement as a CCW pistol. I have had no issues whatsoever with mine, not one malfunction, including continued firing off camera. That said, it's KelTec...and James at TFBtv dropped a review of one today in which they had numerous malfunctions that eventually "cleared up" post break-in. As with anything you're going to depend on for your life, you really need to test YOUR particular piece thoroughly before trusting it, and this goes even more so for a unique design from KelTec for $399 or less. Here's the video, so you can experience both sides of the experience with this particular pistol: • KelTec PR-5.7 Review: $399 Top-Loading 5.7...
