Paris Flea Markets: Essential Sourcing Tips The "Golden Hour" The Early Bird Trap: The sweet spot for the best atmosphere and selection is between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM. The Cash Strategy Cash is King: While some take cards, cash is your best tool for negotiation and securing a better deal. Be Prepared: Bring €50 to €250 depending on your hunt. High-end 19th-century pieces move fast, and someone will swoop in while you're hunting for an ATM. Pro Tip: Withdraw your cash before you arrive. The local ATMs often run out of bills or has a long queue by mid-morning. Etiquette & The Art of the Deal The French Greeting: Always start with a "Bonjour."
