Many of you wrote to me saying it wasn't working for you… so in this video, I'll explain the key points: yeast, thickness, resting time, and temperature. With just 5 ingredients, you'll achieve a soft, puffy bread that's perfect for filling or accompanying your favorite dishes. 🫓 Pita Bread Recipe (for 500g flour) Ingredients: 500g all-purpose or bread flour 1 tsp salt (≈ 8g) 1 tsp sugar (≈ 5g) 1 tsp active dry yeast (≈ 5g) 3 tsp olive oil (≈ 30ml) 300ml lukewarm water 🔥 Preparation Summary: Mix the dry ingredients (flour, salt, sugar, yeast). Gradually add the oil and lukewarm water. Knead for 8–10 minutes until you have a smooth, elastic dough. Let it rest for 1 hour or until it has doubled in size. Divide into 8 portions and shape into balls. Let them rest for 10–15 minutes and roll them out into discs approximately 3–4mm thick. Cook in a very hot pan or in a 250°C oven for 1–2 minutes. ⚠️ Important tip: For pita bread to rise properly, you need three things: ✔ high heat ✔ adequate thickness ✔ don't overwork the dough ✨ I also want to invite you to my other channel: ‘Maher's Path’    / @elcaminodemaher   ⏱️ Video timestamps: 0:00 intro 1:05 activating yeast 2:10 preparing the dough 4:40 kneading 6:20 resting and dividing 7:20 forming balls 8:00 stretching 9:30 pan-frying 10:20 oven-baking 10:50 final result
