merseyrail 20th october 2022 part 2

(I've had to "redact" the title screen as I'd forgot to change it to say part 2!! Whoops!) More Merseyside meanderings from 20th October 2022, as described to you merely 8 months later! In part two:- 0:00:01 - 777 007 heads into the centre siding at Sandhills as it conducts driver training on the new order as the old guard come and go. 508 111 then takes us to Kirkdale for a change of scene 0:07:14 - A more abrupt change of scene sees us leaving Ainsdale to head up to Southport. I remember this unit having trouble getting started from stations. Once in Southport we see some afternoon arrivals and departures including (sit down if easily shocked) some 769s actually moving! 0:13:25 - 507 030 attaches to 017 to form a 6 car service for Hunts X. Some more station activity follows before we join 508 141 for a trip down to the city 0:30:20 - The official jointed track loveliness is duly recorded between Formby and Hall Road with some tones thrown in for good measure from the driver! 0:37:37 - We'd actually gone through to Brunswick to return to the city for more jointed track loveliness. This turned out to be the last time I captured it as by the time of my next visit in February 2023 it had dissappeared. BOO WAAA!!!! 0:39:58 - A random move over to Bebington for some late afternoon action before returning to Hamilton Square as the light fades. It fades even more when we go into the tunnel and run through Green Lane without stopping. After a brief stop for some crazy zooming malarky 508 103 is our last unit of the trip back into town
