Full Cab Ride on Redwood Valley Railway # 7 (6/4/23)

On June 4th, 2023, The Redwood Valley Railway (which operates several 5 in. scale, 15 in. gauge live steam (and one diesel-hydraulic) locomotives throughout the Tilden Regional Park) celebrated its 71st anniversary; operating passenger excursion runs all throughout the day! I had attended to visit family, who was doing some volunteering there; and hence was able to score a cab ride on one of the locomotives! Thanks again to the Engineer, Dan. Now, sit back, grab your popcorn, and enjoy the scenic views of the Tilden Regional Park, and the sounds and sights of a running, miniature, live steam locomotive!
