Candidatos perfectos del Alzheimer | Adriana Zubieta | TEDxSantaCruzdelaSierra

Every mistake and success defines our personal history, shaping our identity stored in memory, allowing us to be who we are and to connect with others. Upon reaching old age, a large number of people face Alzheimer's, a disease that, beyond taking away our memories, robs us of unforgettable moments with our loved ones, our identity, and even the ability to be alive. Adriana Zubieta helps us understand, in a simple way, how to fight this disease through a game and invites us to change our habits, being aware that what we learn throughout life can be an effective weapon in combating this disease. Adriana Zubieta is a psychologist in charge of designing and training in the development of neurocognitive stimulation programs, a volunteer with the Alzheimer's Association of Bolivia, and a volunteer with the Bolivian Society of Neuropsychology. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
