Router Embellishing Woodturnings by Ben Simmons
Independence Woodturners member, Ben Simmons, demonstrates how he embellishes his woodturnings using a router. This video was produced in his shop to be shown in our monthly meeting during our Zoom meeting. He describes the setup of the router, platform, and indexing on the lathe. He shows how to put flutes in a vessel parallel to the lathe axis as well as putting radial cuts on the top and bottom of vessels.
