Cop Saves Choking 2-Year-Old With LifeVac Device
An Ohio police officer rushed to save a choking toddler. Before helping the child, the officer retrieved a portable airway-clearing device from the trunk of his car. After assembling the device, the officer placed it over the toddler's mouth and successfully removed the toy he was choking on. The device the officer used is called a LifeVac. Recently, a special event celebrated 1,000 lives saved by LifeVac. Sixty-three of those lives were saved thanks to viewers learning about the device on Inside Edition.
