Forgotten Railway Line and a Peaceful Village Day | Behlani & Mehrabpur

Hello Everyone, Today I am sharing a different kind of vlog. This time it is not only about trains, it is also about the small moments that make railfanning trips special. The vlog begins in Behlani, a peaceful village in Naushero Feroze District of Sindh. Behlani is around eight kilometers away from Mehrabpur Junction, a station on Mainline 1. I stayed with my friends in the ancestral home of my friend Zohaib and the atmosphere felt calm, simple and full of old memories. We walked through the narrow streets of Behlani and spent some time in the banana orchard and nearby fields. During our visit, we also came across the abandoned track of the old Sindh feeder line that once connected Mehrabpur, Halani, Kandiaro, Tharu Shah and Padidan. It was sad to see that nothing remains of this historic route. After enjoying the village life, we took a rickshaw to Mehrabpur Junction, which now carries the title of a symbolic junction since the feeder line was shut down in the 1990s. On the way, we stopped at a large canal and captured some peaceful views. At Mehrabpur Station, we watched a few train movements, spoke with the station master and met a passionate local railfan who even arranged a small feast for us. By evening, we returned to Behlani in another rickshaw and ended the day with smiles, stories and simple joys. This vlog brings village life, travel moments and railway scenes together.
