38DN Fareed Express Journey | Walton to Kasur Through Beautiful Countryside

Hello everyone, Welcome back to another train journey vlog from Pakistan Railways! After a small break from uploading, I am finally back with a new adventure. This time, I traveled on 38DN Fareed Express for a short but memorable journey from Walton Railway Station to Kasur Junction. This trip was special because it was my very first journey starting from Walton Railway Station. Although the distance was only around 57 kilometers, it turned out to be a refreshing and enjoyable experience. The journey began early in the morning at 6 AM. Even though it was summer, the weather was surprisingly pleasant and cool, making it a perfect start to the day. Fareed Express picked up speed on the busy Main Line-1 section toward Raiwind Junction before entering the branch line leading to Kasur. What made this journey enjoyable were the peaceful countryside views, green fields, charming rural landscapes, and the soothing rhythm of train wheels on the tracks. Sometimes, the shortest train rides leave behind the sweetest memories. After reaching Kasur Junction in less than two hours, I spent some time exploring the station while the locomotive was being turned on the historic "wye turn mechanism". No visit to Kasur felt complete without trying the famous station breakfast, so I enjoyed a delicious plate of Halwa Puri from a local stall before heading back to Lahore by road.
