Polara EN2 - Custer Rd @ Main St & Stacy Rd | Frisco & McKinney, TX

This is the intersection of Custer Rd @ Main St & Stacy Rd located in between Frisco and McKinney! This is an older Frisco mast arm signal that used to have Polara Bulldog buttons, but these were replaced in 2016 as part of the improvement project at this intersection. these have a mixture of McCain and Econolite Traffic Signals. One half of these buttons has the default VOL sounds while the other half of buttons have a VOL message but they all have the Rapid Tick 4 sound as the walk sound and the Locator Tone 1 as the clearance sound. What I do like about these buttons is that the VOL messages also warns pedestrians that the drivers turning right have the right of way with it saying “Right turn permitted”. This is also a wide intersection as the pedestrian signals have a countdown of 39 seconds and 40 seconds for the crosswalks crossing Main St & Stacy Rd and a countdown of 42 seconds and 43 seconds for the crosswalks crossing Custer Rd
