Polara EN2 - Custer Rd @ Rolater Rd & Collin McKinney Pkwy | Frisco & McKinney, TX

This is the intersection of Custer Rd @ Rolater Rd & Collin McKinney Pkwy located in between Frisco and McKinney! This is an older Frisco mast arm signal that used to have Polara Bulldog buttons, but these were replaced in 2016 as part of the improvement project at this intersection which adds a third lane with a third thru signal head. these have a mixture of McCain and Econolite Traffic Signals. All of these buttons have a VOL message but they all have the Rapid Tick 4 sound as the walk sound and the Locator Tone 1 as the clearance sound. What I do like about these buttons is that the VOL messages also warns pedestrians that the drivers turning right have the right of way with it saying “Right turn permitted on red”. These buttons also have a weird thing whereas the buttons on the side at Collin McKinney Pkwy just says Rolater Rd instead. The pedestrian signals have a countdown of 32 seconds and 33 seconds for the crosswalks crossing Rolater Rd and Collin McKinney Pkwy and a countdown of 31 seconds and 32 seconds for the crosswalks crossing Custer Rd
