The Hudson Bay Tinderbox was trade by the Hudson Bay Trading Company that was based in Canada during the fur trade era. As a traditional ‘Flint & Steel’ fire lighting tinderbox it has to rank amongst the very best tinderboxes ever made. The Hudson Bay is available in several metallic finishes that include German Silver, Tin Plate, Solid Copper and Solid Brass. Each Hudson Bay comes complete with a 6x magnification lens with a focal length of about 50mm or 2-inches.
