*I’M NOT BUYING JAMAL BRYANT’S ALTAR CALL… YEP, I SAID IT.* Everybody saw the emotional moment, the shouting, the music, the tears, the 90-year-old mother, and the man who had just walked out after 46 years in prison—but emotion does not automatically equal salvation, and a powerful church moment does not automatically mean the gospel was preached. Walking down an aisle does not save you, shaking a preacher’s hand does not save you, joining a church does not save you, and having the cameras capture your emotional moment does not save you. Salvation comes through hearing and believing the gospel of Jesus Christ, trusting in His death, burial, and resurrection, turning from sin, and being made new by the power of God. Too many believers are being trained to judge truth by goosebumps, tears, music, viral clips, and dramatic altar calls instead of opening the Bible and asking whether the preacher is faithful to the Word. That is how deception slips into the church wearing a choir robe, holding a microphone, and shouting “hallelujah.” This is raw Christian commentary for believers who are tired of church games, celebrity pastors, watered-down preaching, fake altar calls, emotional Christianity, prosperity gospel foolishness, cultural compromise, and preachers who know how to move a crowd but refuse to rightly divide the Word of truth.
