Ancestralidade Africana

Brazil is the second largest country in the world with a Black population; more than half of our population is descended from African peoples. Therefore, it is essential that we reflect on the theme of African ancestry in Brazil. With this in mind, the Curta História Channel invited Professor Gilberto Guizelin (UFPR), a specialist in the History of the Diaspora and Black Slavery in Brazil, to comment on some questions sent in as comments by the public in another video of ours here on the channel about the nations of enslaved Black people brought to Brazil (   • As "nações" dos escravos africanos no Brasil  ).
