A day of serious swells at Rokaputa, one of the biggest, most powerful, and most dangerous waves on the Basque coast. I went with Rubén Vitoria, Eneko Merino, Iker Amatriain, Lander Dávila, and several others to face these giant walls… and let me tell you, there were some tense moments. I had a REALLY rough time at one of the meals, one of those times when the sea reminds you who's boss. Even so, the session was epic: adrenaline, respect, wipeouts, huge lines, and the classic big wave atmosphere right at home.
