[Photo Date] March 19, 2023 We climbed Aki-Kofuji and Shimotakayama on Ninoshima Island in Hiroshima Prefecture. Aki-Kofuji has also been selected as one of the 100 Best Island Mountains. It's a 20-minute ferry ride from Hiroshima Port to Ninoshima Port. The mimosas were in full bloom on the day of the climb, and it was a beautiful mountain where you could see many of the islands in the Seto Inland Sea from the hiking trail and from the summit.
